The International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS) is an annual conference organised for physics students by National Committees of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS). The first ever ICPS was held in in Budapest, Hungary in 1986. From this point on, dozens of countries have hosted the event over the decades (see the map below).

The 38th edition of ICPS will happen in August, 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

  • Georgia is selected to host ICPS 2024

    Every year the Annual General Meeting of IAPS selects the host committee for ICPS two years in the future. Since the establishment of NC Georgia 🇬🇪 (a.k.a. GAPS) in 2019, we had been looking forward to being the hosts for ICPS. In August 2022 this finally came true!
